Mister Philippines 2012 will represent the country to the Mister International 2012.

Fhrancis Oliver Lopez (Las Pinas City) is Mister Philippines 2011 to Mister International 2011 Bangkok Thailand, December 17, 2011.

The search for the country’s role model (patriotic, educated and fit) and official representative to the 2011 Mister International Pageant ends with the awarding of Fhrancis Oliver Lopez of Las Piñas City as                                                                                      Mister Philippines 2011 by a unanimous vote of a panel of judges last August 14, 2011, at the Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in Kawit Cavite.

Lopez, a 22 year-old International Hospitality Management student at the University of  Perpetual Help System DALTA and who was also voted as the Most Photogenic, bested eighteen other contestants coming from the various regions of the country. As prizes, Lopez receives a round-trip ticket to the Mister International 2011 Pageant and pocket money, gift checks from SM Malls, GC from Fitness first MOA, and a gift certificate for aesthetic dermatological procedures worth Php 100,000.00 from Higher Self- Esteem Medical Services. The runners-up also receive gift certificate for aesthetic dermatological procedures from Higher Self-Esteem worth Php 50,000.00 each.

The runners-up are Mohammad Khalid Gunting  (AWOL), a law graduate form the Philippine law School in Manila and a BS Psychology graduate from Marawi State University, THE SUN/first runner-up.

Daren Dale Angeles (Dasmariñas City), a travel and tourism management student at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite Campus., He is the president of the Local Student Government, College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Vive-President for Internal affairs of the Lyceum Cantral Student Government, also Mr.  LPU Cavite 2011, THE FIRST STAR/second runner-up.

Daniel Paolo David (Manila), an Masters in Business Administration student at De La Salle University, THE SECOND STAR/third runner-up, and

Antonio Darlucio (Bulacan), a PAL flight attendant and former Ginoong Bulacan 2006, THE THIRD STAR/fourth runner-up.

The complete line-up of contestants includes Adonis Alday (Nueva Ecija); Jay Francis de la Cruz ( Cavite); Dale Dizon (Pampanga); Alfie Espartero (Antipolo City); Jesus Rafael Jose (Quezon City); Matt Julius Lerin (Cavite); Albert Lim II (Quezon City); Jeffrey Mallari (Tarlac); Michael Mebaña (Cagayan Valley); Esthan John Obusan (Camarines Norte); Arturo Pinpin Jr. (Cavite); Julian Cornelio Punzalan (Pampanga); Marvin Valdez (Ilocos Sur); and  Jerry Mar Ybañez (Quezon City).

The candidates competed in the national costume (barong), active wear (provided by SM City Bacoor Department Store), board short and formal wear categories.

Albert Lim II was awarded Best in Barong; Darren Dale Angeles, Best in Active Wear; Dale Dizon, Best in Board Short/Swimwear; Matt Julius Lerin, Best in Formal Wear; and Mohammad Khalid Gunting, awardee for the Robert Fairman Congeniality Award.

Mister Philippines 2011 panel of judges consists of Dr. Joseph I. Pallera, Mister Philippines National director and President, as chairman; Dr. Anji Sta. Theresa, Board Member of the Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Surgery (PAAS); Aureo Alonzo, the Philippines’ premier and international couturier; Director Randy Rufino, TV and film director; Nicolo Cosme, international fashion and conceptual photographer; Cathy Antonio, PR Head SM Malls Cavite; and Ryan Terry, Mister International 2010 from Great Britain.

Ms. Michelline Duyan, BM of SM City Bacoor together with Ms Helen Saavedra, Ms Loida Chua, Ms Theresa Seneres, Ms Carmen Manzanal, Ms Veronica Lanuza, Alan Sim of Mister Singapore Organization, producer of Mister Singapore and Mister International Pageants; and Mister Philippines 2010 Raphael Carlos of Marikina City, who made it to top 15 in the Mister International 2010 in Jakarta, Indonesia, graced the event as special guests.

The candidates were presented to the public and the press last August 1, 2011 at the Aguinaldo Park and the Aguinaldo Shrine. They also had their official photo shoot with the Cavite Camera Club. A fashion show and pre-judging event was also held on August 12, 2011 at SM City Bacoor.

Presented in part by SkyCable, SM Malls, SM City Bacoor Department Store, Santi and Sons,  Anthony David Beauty Products, and Higher Self-Esteem Medical Services, Mister Philippines 2011 is held, for the second time as a post Kawit Day event which celebrates the founding of Kawit as Cavite El Viejo 411 years ago (August 1, 1600).
